Two simple games make me love WoW

I like to play games in WoW. Like, children's games. It's rare I get someone else to join me, but when I do, I've yet to find a person that didn't have a blast.

Two simple games:

Blizzard says bring it on! (aka TTR mayhem take 2)

Drysc has issued a challenge to the World of Warcraft community to meet Blizzard teams out on the Tournament Test Realm and compete in the 2v2, 3v3, and 5v5 Arena brackets. This follows a relatively successful worldwide brawl over the TTR last Sunday, where WoW Insider fielded a team of its own, although most of the time was spent waiting for the realm to get back online. Blizzard reached record numbers for the TTR tournament, prompting hardware upgrades which will be put to the test on Wednesday, between 5:00pm and 8:00pm PDT.

Blizzard stole my gold and stuff

As my main is often away from nearest AH and it's often not worth the time traveling to and fro, I email stuff to my alt and have my alt put stuff on AH, check for stuff I need, then mail back stuff and extra gold.

Yesterday at about 8 am, I sent 3 emails total, 2 to my main and 1 to my brother for his alchemy. He got the email last night but didn't check the time so he didn't know when it arrived. The second email I sent to my main was waiting when I logged my main but the first email containing a total of 88 gold and 6 stacks (120 units) of unsold Heavy Knothide Leather didn't arrive. Since I logged to my main right after I sent those 3 emails off, and stayed on for a few hours I am positive no one else could have logged in and stole my email. Since I used reply to the last email from my main and the fact 1 email arrived safely, I know it wasn't a typo or something in the TO line.

Paladins NEED AP: Spell damage

ALL of these abilities are affected ONLY by spell damage. However, blizzard has repeatedly stated that "the spell damage requirement for ret paladins will be REMOVED."

All that has happened from this, however, is the removal of all spell damage from season 3 pvp sets, and the changing of Crusader strike from weapon damage +40% of spell damage to simply 110% weapon damage.

Become a Famous World of Warcraft Player

In a game with 9 million subscribers one may think it is impossible to stand out from the crowd or to be recognized for some unique talent, whether for epic gear, a unique look, or even the most memorable, and often overlooked - personality! World of Warcraft may be a virtual game but it's principle on becoming well liked and famous are the same as those in real life; when we combine a unique look through gear/clothing/avatar, a catchy, easy to remember name (Grutinkaol is an example of a bad one), and a playstyle/outrageous event (Leeroy Jenkins moment) you are sure to become an infamous WoW player.

how do you find your appropriate guild in World of Warcraft

I feel I have reached a stage where I would stand to gain a great deal from joining a guild. My interests are currently:
Levelling up my main (currently 28) - alliance on aggramar
Starting to do instances
Social aspects of guild membership
Mucking around in game just for a laugh

And in future I expect to:
Do a little raiding, although not hardcore 4 times a week (can't afford the time), more as a stand in / casual raider

...and I am more than happy to help lower levels as I become a higher level.

You can call your demon toby

1. You can call your demon toby all you want, his real name is Kunta Kinte. The Demon is a sentient and self aware being who would try to kill you had you not subjugated it. A Hunter's pets become his friends. I am one lock who likes the game not being able to name my minion. 2. Can't help much on that one except to say it is probably more trouble to code it "as the crow flies" than use linear "over the land" distance, especially since you have to keep AOE spells balanced and they have to use "over the land" for their area

I was leveling my now 28 mage

I win the dumbass award! Yesterday I was leveling my now 28 mage and at one point went to apply Minor Wizard Oil to my Staff of Westfall ....

warriors would have to focus on agi instead

Hm, that makes no sense, imho. Because then warriors would have to focus on agi instead, so that they can double their str score. Isn't it so that agi is for rogues and hunters mostly? And that the doubling rule only counts for such classes? No idea, I never understood the whole ap thing. Never bothered either, really. Yeah I dunno - here's the page

I like all 10 races

As it is, I like all 10 races. However, going by the levels of my characters (I have one of each race), in order, I'd say Orc, Dwarf, Tauren, Gnome, Undead, Blood Elf, Human, Night Elf, Draenai, Troll. Class-wise, that would be Hunter, Hunter, Druid, Warrior, Warlock, Paladin, Mage, Rogue, Priest, Shaman.
